GTESS Corporation announces new level of SAS 70 Type II Certification

Additional controls ensure quality process outsourcing for health claim processing

March 2, 2011 — GTESS Corporation (Richardson, Texas) today announced that it has completed a rigorous external review of all its core business processes, resulting in a successful SAS 70 Type II certification for its core operations. This certification represents SAS 70 Type II compliance for the primary functions GTESS performs as an outsourced provider of healthcare claim processing. The Company, which has held SAS 70 Type II certifications for its data center operations since 2004, applied for the audit of an additional 11 control objectives related to its Technology and Business Operations, Product Development, and Engineering and Client Services.  GTESS successfully demonstrated that its internal controls were well-designed and that processes and procedures are in place to meet those control objectives.
