GTESS Announces Third Clearinghouse Partnership
With Payerpath
Further expands national clearinghouse coverage for high-quality EDI
December 1, 2005 (Richardson,TX) GTESS Corporation, a leading provider of outsourced, technology-based claims processing to the healthcare industry, today announced a preferred Clearinghouse partnership with Payerpath Inc, a leading provider of Internet-based financial transaction solutions for healthcare providers, hospitals and payers. The preferred clearinghouse partnership with Payerpath is the third announced by GTESS, which is actively expanding its eClaims Gateway™ services to help clients easily and efficiently manage clearinghouse relationships and lower their cost-per-claim. Other preferred Clearinghouse partnerships with Availity LLC and The Health Information Network (THIN) are also in place.
Many payers find it difficult or cost-prohibitive to connect with multiple clearinghouses, and may settle for low-quality data and poor customer service from a single EDI provider. With access to GTESS Partner Clearinghouses through the eClaims Gateway™, payers gain a clean, homogenous stream of EDI claims, customized to auto-adjudicate, and with all the accrued benefits of a single operational portal for quick, efficient customer service.
“Our goal is to provide a single gateway for clients to access to the best pre-adjudication technology and all the related downstream services that will lower their cost per claim,” said GTESS CEO & President, Deborah M. Gage. “As we secure premier clearinghouse partnerships, we not only complete due diligence required to find and contract with cost-effective clearinghouse relationships, we also broaden their clearinghouse coverage and make it easier for them to manage these relationships.”
Payerpath’s suite of Internet-based products helps payers expand provider connectivity and help drive provider adoption of EDI transactions. With a proven track record of provider adoption and direct connections to payers in 30 states, the company is a strong addition to GTESS’ clearinghouse partnerships.
“We are excited to have GTESS as one of our valued partners,” said Jim Brady, CEO and president for Payerpath. “Payerpath is committed to delivering our provider clients’ claims in the most direct means possible, and our partnership with GTESS helps deliver upon that commitment.”
GTESS and Payerpath are partnering for the receipt of HIPAA-compliant electronic claims and to jointly bring GTESS and Payerpath services to payer clients. GTESS clients will now benefit from a 100 % claim solution, enhanced with its web-based, claim-processing applications, reporting, and user administration via the eClaims Gateway portal. In fact, GTESS’ fully integrated products are built upon a connective architecture that provides a single, streamlined workflow for all claims processing operations, creating new levels of cost savings and efficiency and opening the door for future applications. Within the GTESS solution, GTESS’ document management product, DocControl™, contains 100 % of clients’ claims and our network management services component, PPO Connect™, can route and track all claims consistently.
