GTESS Introduces Improved Document Management
Solution
Helps healthcare payers and networks manage non-standard
claims a d nelated documents/correspondence
June 23, 2003 GTESS Corporation (Richardson, TX), a leading
provider of business process outsourcing solutions to the healthcare
industry, today announced a new version of its integrated document
management system, DocControl. DocControl, designed
specifically to index and track various healthcare claim types
and related non-standard documents, now offers clients the ability
to view claims, correspondence, contracts, enrollment forms and
member-related documents in a single web-based application.
GTESS CEO and President, Deborah M. Gage, said, "For every
claim processed in the healthcare industry, 3-5 other related
documents exist. Now, through the advanced electronic indexing
and archiving capability of DocControl, clients can efficiently
connect these ancillary paper or EDI documents to create a single
claim and/or member record. all with client-defined control
and security."
As a provider of a "Virtual Front-End" to healthcare
payers and network providers, GTESS automates - with proprietary
technology - manual and time-consuming processes, such as mailroom
operations, data entry, eligibility verification and repricing.
DocControl goes far beyond traditional claims processing
system capabilities for indexing and archiving, offering GTESS
clients a path to seamless management of their members data.
DocControl continues the GTESS tradition of creating proprietary
technology solely for the control and display of healthcare documents,
and has been shaped by more than three years of customer feedback.
In addition, this automated handling of private patient information
helps clients achieve and maintain HIPAA compliance.
