GTESS Executive Speaks on
Business Process Management Healthcare Applications
at National Conference
October 14, 2004 (Richardson, TX) GTESS Corporation, a leading provider of business process outsourcing services for the healthcare industry, today announced that one of its executives – Mary Nowlin, VP of Key Accounts – will present “How Business Process Outsourcers and Their Clients Can Benefit from BPM” at a DCI Business Process Management Conference to be held November 9-11, 2004 in San Francisco, CA. Ms. Nowlin joins 24 other industry leaders who are speaking on BPM readiness and performance, process modeling and design, and examples from live implementations to 3,000 healthcare professionals in attendance.
GTESS, which employs a business process management solution comprising proprietary technology and specialized workflow applications, processes millions of healthcare claims annually for its clients. The Company pioneered the use of extensive CleanClaim™ technologies and workflow automation in its outsourced service solution.
“A BPM solution provides extensive value to healthcare outsourcing companies and their clients. It drives operational efficiencies by replacing human processes with automated technology, reduces competitive, service and cost pressures, and decreases time to market for new product development,” said Nowlin.
Nowlin, a 10-year veteran of healthcare business automation with more than 21 years working with healthcare payers and plans to implement large-scale core processing solutions, joined GTESS in the summer of 2004 to spearhead the Company’s account management initiatives. She and her team provide high-level consultancy expertise to GTESS clients, helping to define and deliver claims processing solutions that drive continual operational performance improvements. Nowlin most recently acted as National Sales Executive for First Consulting Group’s BPM practice after first serving as Director of Implementation Services for several years. Prior to First Consulting Group she held several roles with the EDS healthcare services division, including Operations Manager for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of California, and NASCO Account Manager.
