Rick Lee
Mr. Lee is president of the employer solutions business unit of Magellan Health Services, the nation's leading provider of behavioral health services. Magellan's employer solutions division provides a range of services to more than 1,300 self-funded employers. Before joining Magellan, he was senior vice president of health plans at Matria Healthcare, a provider of comprehensive disease management programs to health plans and employers. He joined Matria in 2002 after the company acquired Quality Oncology and its predecessor, Accountable Oncology Associates, a firm that Lee founded in 1995. Previously, Mr. Lee spent 10 years with Value Health Inc., where he held senior management positions in sales, marketing, strategic development and operations. He started his healthcare career at the Washington Business Group on Health, where he was responsible for leading large corporations in advancing a greater role for business in the development of national healthcare policy.
Mr. Lee is a recognized expert in the field of cancer disease management and has been published in several healthcare journals. He serves on the boards of PayerPath Inc., IntelliCare and the Haelan Group.
He is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Washington School of Public Health.
